Rome, September 23, 2025 – The clinical study “Efficacy of a Dietary Supplement Containing Choline, Glutathione, Selenium, Zinc, L. rhamnosus, and B. lactis on Short-term Steatosis and Liver Function: A Pilot Study,” conducted by Drs. Massimo De Luca and Ciro Guerriero at the U.O.C. – AORN Cardarelli, has been published.
The clinical study demonstrated a reduction in the transaminases ALT, AST, and GGT—a clinically significant improvement in liver function—in patients with MASLD (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease) following 4 months of supplementation.
Improvements were also observed in other indicators related to hepatic steatosis, such as a reduction in CAP (Controlled Attenuation Parameter)—that is, the amount of fat accumulated in the liver—and an improvement in the metabolic profile, confirming the potential of EPATOril PRO® as a valuable aid in managing this condition.
The study was published in the scientific journal JScholar and is freely available at this link.
EPATOril PRO®: a scientifically formulated product for liver health
The data from the clinical study conducted by Drs. De Luca and Guerriero represent a concrete step toward nutraceutical innovation: scientifically validated solutions aimed at providing benefits and expert support for liver health.
