CHOLINE

Choline, also known as vitamin J, is a natural molecule that forms the membrane of cells and intervenes as a coenzyme in numerous metabolic reactions. Choline

• contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function
• contributes to normal lipid metabolism
• contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism

ZINC

Zinc is a cofactor of enzymes and transcription factors involved in protein, lipid and glucose metabolism, and DNA and RNA synthesis.
Zinc deficiency is often observed in individuals with liver dysfunction.
Zinc supplementation contributes:

• to the synthesis capacity of phospholipids, which are important for lipoprotein synthesis and thus cholesterol transport (zinc deficiency is atherogenic and alters lipid balance)
• to the hepatic ability to metabolise ammonium from protein catabolism (role in hepatic encephalopathy and albumin production)

GLUTATHIONE

Glutathione (GSH), is a natural tripeptide, consisting of cysteine, glycine and glutamate, present in cells in ubiquitous form and particularly concentrated in the liver. It is considered the most important antioxidant at the cellular level.

SELENIUM

Selenium (Se) is a trace element, essential for many functions in the body. It is an important cofactor of glutathione, so its presence is important for the beneficial effect of glutathione.
Selenium:

• contributes to cell protection against oxidative stress
• contributes to the normal function of the immune system

Bifidobacterium lactis and Lactobacillus Rhamnosus

Strains widely present in the intestine (80% of the microbial flora in breastfed infants and 2-14% in adults) and vagina, well known in the scientific world and now also to the general public and widely used as probiotics. They boast many publications describing their properties including:
